BMUN 58’s Charitable Cause: World Food Program
There are 1.02 billion undernourished people in the world today. That means one in nearly six people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life.
The World Food Program is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food wherever and whenever it is needed most.
BMUN chose to support this organization because of their commitment to responding to emergencies as well as their work to prevent hunger in the future by helping communities become more food secure.
In 2010, WFP aims to feed more than 90 million people in 73 countries. As an organization that is completely reliant on voluntary donations, WFP needs the help of generous people like you.
